How was your day? I hope you are always in good health. Here I want to explain the material about “Procedure Text - How To Make”

Procedure text is text that contains commands or steps in doing something.

Text Procedure Features :
- Using simple present tenses
- Using the imperative sentence.
- Using action verbs.
- Using numbering.
- Using conjunctions.
- Using adverbs to clarify the stages passed.

Types of Procedure Text :
• Procedure text that describes how to operate/use something.
• Procedure text that provides instructions for carrying out certain activities. 
• Procedure text related to tips for living life.

Structure Procedure Text :
1. Goal/Aim.
2. Materials. 
3. Steps. 
4. Result. 

Language Features of Procedure Text :
1. Simple present tense. 
2. Imperative Sentences. 
3. Connectives. 
 4. Adverbs. 

Example : How To Make a Popcorn Caramel :

Ingredients in Caramel Popcorn:

• Popcorn (For a healthier version of Caramel Popcorn, pop your own popcorn without adding salt, sweeteners, or butter.) 

• Brown Sugar

• Corn Syrup

• Butter

• Vanilla Extract

• Baking Soda

How to make caramel popcorn:

• Melt butter in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat. Once melted, stir in brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt until smooth.

• Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally. As soon as the caramel starts to gently boil, boil for 2 minutes stirring.

• Remove from the heat and stir in baking soda and vanilla

• Immediately drizzle caramel over popcorn. Toss gently with a spatula until coated. Bake for 45 minutes, stirring the popcorn every 15 minutes.
