How was your day? I hope you are always in good health. Here I want to explain the material about “Procedure Text - How To Do”

Procedure text is text that contains commands or steps in doing something.

Text Procedure Features :

- Using simple present tenses

- Using the imperative sentence.

- Using action verbs.

- Using numbering.

- Using conjunctions.

- Using adverbs to clarify the stages passed.

Types of Procedure Text :

• Procedure text that describes how to operate/use something.

• Procedure text that provides instructions for carrying out certain activities. 

• Procedure text related to tips for living life.

Structure Procedure Text :

1. Goal/Aim.

2. Materials. 

3. Steps. 

4. Result. 

Language Features of Procedure Text :

1. Simple present tense. 

2. Imperative Sentences. 

3. Connectives. 

4. Adverbs. 

After in part 1 I have explained how to make something we want, here I will explain how to do something we want. 

Example : How To Do a Healthy Lifestyle

1.) Avoid stress :

 stifling task or work deadlines, stagnant finances are stressors. try as much as possible to reduce or even avoid all things that can be stressful.

2.) Choose food wisely :

 Make sure that the food on your plate meets the principles of balanced nutrition, which includes carbohydrates, fiber, protein, and good fats.

3.) Make time to exercise every day :

 free to do the type of exercise that you really like to get used to living a healthy life. the body will try to burn calories in the body and can help flow more oxygen into the body's cells.

4.) Drink lots of water :

 To ensure that the body's fluid intake is met properly, it is effective not to consume sugary drinks.

5.) Get enough sleep :

 Starting from immune function, energy, appetite, mood to weight. The ideal sleep duration for adults is around 7-9 hours per night.
